In the French version of Disney’s fairy tale Cinderella, the CARRIAGE has a role. It takes Cinderella to that special ball that determines her destiny.
Do you remember how Cinderella got the carriage?
After her evil stepmother and her stepsisters tear her dress and go to the ball without her, Cinderella is in tears and goes to her mother’s grave. While she is crying desperately, the Good Fairy shows up.
The Good Fairy comforts Cinderella, she wipes her tears and makes her wish come true. First, she takes care of transport that will honour the beautiful girl: a luxurious carriage drawn by two pairs of magnificent horses, a coachman to accompany and to guard her.
The way how the Good Fairy did her job was especially interesting.
She used things, plants, and animals around her, and included them into her magic exactly where she needed them. The way she determined where she would put what or who, is educational.
She did not choose obvious solutions. Listen to the explanation of the symbol of the CARRIAGE in the recording.
How can we symbolically understand the symbol of the carriage?
Ask yourself how you face your own challenges in life?
Do you find logical, predictable solutions, always in the same way? Do you ever step outside the box? If not, why?
The symbol of a carriage invites you to think about the way you handle means that are at your disposal.
Consider all the material goods you dispose of, also all the immaterial, like for example: your own energy, focus, concentration, persistence, creativity.
Many times, in life we are so focused on the material, forgetting that the material is a consequence of the fact on whom or what we focus and whom we give our energy to. If you are not happy with certain things in your life, look at the situation from a different angle:
- Where did you direct your energy and attention to achieve this result?
- Where would you have to direct it to get a desired result?
Check once more everything you dispose of in the given situation: could you link various people and/or things in a different way as you did?
Check your inner resistance
- What do your feelings tell you about the given circumstances, people, challenge?
- Where do you stand still?
- What does your inner saboteur look like and what does he want to tell you?
Every event that happens to you in your life, it happens because you “cast your spell” over it with your unique combination of feelings and focus. This means you can change the present reality by changing the one or the other.
Try it. Cast your spell over your own carriage and take a ride to the ball.
